A Lark at the Park in the Dark

Edge, originally uploaded by Mary-Alice.

This photograph reminds me of good friends and good times, there are a lot of people who survive on superficiality alone and that's not something I can approve of or even understand.

The style of this image is something I'm actually proud of (for once). I love the depth in the colour, the slight haze of a high ISO with a combination of bright flash gives the sense of playfulness. In reality we were drinking Vodka from Hannah Montana cups, playing guitar and generally being ridiculous. Which I miss and I love, I hope that this Christmas will bring much of the same thing (even if it includes Keats' obsession with that bloody Pogues song...).
